Why register?

* Your privacy is important to HRM. The hub is a web-based platform. Registration protects your privacy and ensures secure access.

* Stay in the know on the go. Log in to the hub from your personal computer and mobile device.

Step 1: Your e-mail address: You must use a valid HRM email address to register. We will send a verification email to your HRM email address.


Step 2: Enter your name: Please use your full name. This name will be used to create your account but will not appear next to any comments you make on the site (see Step 3).

Step 3: Choose a screen name: This name will appear on the site next to any comments you make or questions you ask. You do not need to use your full name. Assuming the name or identity of another person is prohibited pursuant to the Employee Hub site Terms of Use. Breach of these conditions of use may result in progressive discipline up to the termination of your user account.

Step 4: Choose a Password and you will need to enter it twice.

HRM Terms & Conditions

HRM employees must read and agree to the following terms and conditions (the“Terms and Conditions) and the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and Moderation Rules) that apply to the use by you of the Halifax Regional Municipality (“HRM”) Employee Hub (the “ Employee Hub”). Upon accepting the Terms and Conditions, Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and Moderation Rules, you will be permitted to register as a user of the Employee Hub. If you choose not to accept the Terms and Conditions or Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and Moderation Rules, you will not be permitted to register as a user of the Employee Hub.

Terms and Conditions:You agree that the Employee Hub is not a public website and that the information provided on the Employee Hub is intended to be accessed and viewed by HRM employees only.

You agree NOT to share, copy, duplicate or otherwise distribute any information provided on the Employee Hub by its administrators or users, outside of the organization (HRM).

You agree to abide by all employer policies including HR Policies, Values & Ethics, Privacy and Acceptable Internet Use Policy, at all times when using the Employee Hub.

You agree that your account information will not be used to identify you or your activity on the Employee Hub, except where you fail to adhere to the Terms and Conditions, Terms of Use, Privacy Policy or Moderation Rules of the site, in which case you agree that HRM reserves the right to use your account information to identify you and your activity on the site.
