The COVID Alert app, a tool to help break the cycle of infection and keep our communities safe, is now available in Nova Scotia.
COVID Alert will let users know of possible exposures before symptoms appear. Users of the app who test positive for COVID-19 can enter a random code provided by the Nova Scotia Health Authority. An alert will then be sent to any phone that has come within two meters for at least 15 minutes with a person who has tested positive.
COVID Alert does not know or track your location, name or contacts and does not collect personal or health information of you or anyone you’re near.
